What You'll Be Doing
- Assist with day-to-day tasks, including scheduling, email correspondence, and calendar management.
- Assist with on-site visits, taking measurements, photographs, and notes as needed.
- Draft purchase orders and track orders and deliveries.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors on behalf of the lead designer.
- Maintain project files and documentation in an organized and accessible manner.
- Contribute creative input and fresh ideas during brainstorming sessions.
- Perform other administrative and design-related tasks as assigned.
What You Bring to the Team
- Interest and/or background in Interior Design, A/V, or related field (education or experience).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and willingness to learn design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) if applicable.
- Excellent communication skills — written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow through on multiple tasks.
- Creative mindset with an eye for aesthetics and design trends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to assist with light lifting (samples, small furnishings, etc.) and site visits.
Compensation: $16 - $18/hour. This role is part-time.
