- Install, configure, and troubleshoot smart home automation systems, including lighting control, motorized shades, audio/video distribution, networking, and home security.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site, both independently and alongside senior technicians or project leads.
- Travels to various job sites and client homes to complete installs, service calls and system support; uses hand and power tools safely; maintains company-issued tools, equipment, and vehicle organized and in good working order.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and other industry professionals, walking them through system operation and addressing questions on-site.
- Communicate daily via Dynamics Portal about the progress of the project. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time on each job.
- 2-3 years of AV/Networking /Technology Integration Experience or a related field
- A professional, customer-first attitude — you represent Daisy in clients' homes.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the judgment to know when to solve a problem independently vs escalate it.
- Motivated to learn new technologies and processes
- Exhibits strong management and leadership skills; capable of leading and motivating others
- Can pass a drug screen and background check
- Possess a valid NJ Real ID driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured motor vehicle
- Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 50 lbs) and comfortably work on ladders, in attics, crawl spaces, and other tight job-site conditions.
- Experience with video wall systems, including mounting, alignment, and calibration.
- Manufacturer certifications in control systems, networking, or AV platforms (e.g., Control4, Lutron, Crestron, or similar).
