About Daisy
At Daisy, we’re pioneering the future of smart spaces—making homes and offices more connected, comfortable, and joyful through technology. As the first national smart space installation and services company, we’re growing fast and are seeking a Northern California Area Sales Director to support our NorCal branches.

Why You'll Love This Role
As an Area Sales Director at Daisy, you will oversee sales operations and performance across a specific geographic area, which includes multiple Daisy branches located within easy driving distance of one another. These branches collectively serve the broader local market, and you will be the boots-on-the-ground leader, working directly alongside sales teams and clients in the field, attending site walks, leading in-person 1:1 coaching, and participating actively in client meetings.
This role balances strategy with hands-on tactical execution, direct client engagement, and inspirational leadership to ensure each branch in your area achieves its sales goals while maintaining Daisy’s standard of excellence in client service.

What You'll Be Doing

Area Sales Leadership
  • Take full ownership of sales performance across the assigned local area, aligning closely with corporate sales goals and ensuring area revenue targets are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and implement area-specific strategies to address local market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to the SVP of Sales, identifying opportunities and challenges specific to the area.
Sales Team Development & Support
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor sales professionals across area branches as needed.
  • Conduct regular in-person coaching, shadowing, and performance reviews with sales staff at each branch.
  • Motivate and inspire teams to consistently meet and exceed sales targets, fostering a high-performance, accountable culture.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to branch managers, supporting them on sales strategy, customer engagement, and team development.
Direct Client Engagement
  • Actively participate in high-value, complex, or strategic sales opportunities, ensuring a successful client experience and positive outcomes.
  • Attend and lead client site walks, in-person consultations, and project meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key local accounts, including architectural, building, or interior design firms, and high-net-worth clients.
Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the geographic area, expanding Daisy’s footprint in the local market.
  • Represent Daisy at local industry events, networking with influential stakeholders in the community.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-priority clients in the area, ensuring their long-term satisfaction and retention.
Operational Excellence
  • Drive consistent adoption and effective use of the CRM system across all area branches, ensuring accurate, timely pipeline and customer data.
  • Standardize sales processes and practices at each branch to align with Daisy’s overall sales strategy and deliver consistent client experiences.
  • Monitor sales metrics and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve performance across the area.

  • CRM Utilization: Achieve full CRM compliance across all area branches, with clean and up-to-date data.
  • Customer Retention: Deliver an exceptional experience to clients, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
What You Have Done
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally overseeing multi-location or area-level sales teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop sales teams while maintaining hands-on involvement in client engagements and deal execution.
  • Proven success in business development and closing high-value sales opportunities.
Leadership Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills; able to inspire and develop sales professionals across multiple locations.
  • Hands-on and proactive — comfortable spending significant time in the field with both clients and sales staff.
